About Me

I live in a two bedroom flat in Chelmsford, with my husband and our two young children aged 1 and 6. I have always wanted to work with children and have since I was old enough to do so. I have always enjoyed looking after children and being able to watch them meet new mile stones and having new experiences.

Before becoming a childminder, I worked for a day nursery as a nursery manager. I enjoyed every moment of my work and grew great relationships with each child I looked after and every parent that I worked with. My experience of caring for a range of children up to the age of 5 and working in partnership with parents are huge benefits to my approach to childminding. Our home will be a place for your children to learn through play and socialise within a safe stimulating environment.

I hold Btec National Diploma In Early Years and I hope to further my studies to include a Degree In Early Years and Professional Status. I have attended courses with Chelmsford Council on the EYFS (the governments current educational framework), Safeguarding children, pediatric First Aid, Equal opportunities, Making the most of the outdoors and Behaviour management.

My husband and I have received enhanced criminal record checks and I have been medically checked. From the beginning of May I will be  a fully insured and registered childminder. Please feel free to contact me for any more information or to discuss available spaces.
